Nabil Kassam

Director

Nabil joined Zynik after graduating from Harvard University in 2001. As a strategic and financial analyst, Nabil evaluated growth and exit strategies of Zynik's holdings, worked extensively with the CFOs of various portfolio companies, and conferred with independent industry specialists.

Following six months as an analyst, he worked closely with management teams on the turnarounds of companies in the retail, manufacturing, agriculture, and hotel industries. Nabil also assumed a larger role on Zynik's finance side, managing a public portfolio and identifying investment opportunities, as well as sitting on the board of PCL Plastics Corporation.

In 2005, Nabil enrolled at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. During his time at Stanford, Nabil co-founded and served as Project Manager for an internet start-up company in Pakistan. He also worked closely with a group of Stanford students, further developing Zynik's emerging markets and public investments.

Upon obtaining his MBA from Stanford, Nabil joined Katzenbach Partners, a New York-based consulting firm focused on integrating strategic problem solving with organizational performance. Nabil returned full-time to Zynik in June 2008.
