The Zynik Gala and Zynik Founder Scholarship Awards Event

We’re excited to have you at the second annual Zynik Founder Scholarship Social and 2026 Zynik Gala. Both events are an opportunity to meet and celebrate with your fellow 2026 scholarship winners, current Zynik Founder Scholars and past alumni.

Please read carefully so you can know what to expect on May 27, 2026.

How does the day & evening unfold?

The day will start with lunch and a great time at a Toronto Blue Jays game followed by an evening where you’ll be celebrated during Zynik’s annual Awards Gala. The night will begin with an open happy hour. It’s a time for guests to mingle casually and get to know each other. After that, guests will be invited to take a seat and awards will be celebrated. Following will be a plated dinner service, followed by dessert and dancing.

How to dress for the gala

The Annual Zynik Awards Dinner Gala is our biggest event of the year! Please be sure to dress to impress. For the business attendees, this means “Business Formal.” For students, this means dresses, dress suits, suit jackets and ties. Be sure to scroll through images below to get a better idea. 11:30-Lunch at Amsterdam Brewhouse

1:00 – Toronto Blue Jays take on the Miami Marlins at the Rogers Center/Skydome

5:45 – Cocktail Hour – Outside the Victory Ballroom, Hotel X

~6:30 – Guests are seated – Award Presentations

~7:30 – Plated Dinner Service

~8:30 – Dessert & Coffee

~9:00 – Cocktails & Dancing

Please join us at Amsterdam Brewhouse for lunch before the Toronto Blue Jays game.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be included.

Toronto Blue Jays Game

After lunch, please make your way to the Rogers Center for the Toronto Blue Jays baseball game. Tickets will be provided at lunch. The walk takes approximately 10 minutes and the Rogers Center is located north of the Amsterdam Brewhouse, beside the CN Tower.
