Shamir is an Innovation Engineer at the Zynik Innovation Center. He works with Zynik’s portfolio companies to pursue both disruptive and incremental innovations.

He got his start in academia while conducting research in scientific imaging and nanotechnology. He then moved into the industry and joined Structo 3D, a 3D printing company specializing in dental applications. There, he held several roles in engineering, product development, and technical research, making key contributions to Structo’s evolution from an early stage startup to a leader in the space.

Shamir holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
